Chuck Landvatter was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He holds a BS in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Utah (2008), and an MFA in Drawing & Painting from Utah State University (2013). Upon graduation, Chuck taught as adjunct professor at USU for two years, and one year at Weber State University before moving to his current appointment at Southern Arkansas University. At SAU he teaches primarily foundations, but also intermediate, and advanced courses as Assistant Professor of Art and Design. Chuck’s work is informed by his experiences growing up in the Intermountain West, primarily involves the figure, and is executed with a hybrid approach involving traditional techniques, contemporary design, illustration, and graffiti.
Jared found his connection to visual arts through his multicultural upbringing, from Buenos Aires to Mexico City and Atlanta to California finally anchoring in Utah during his High School years. He studied illustration at Salt Lake Community College and fine art and graphic design at the University of Utah. He currently works out of his studio in Millcreek at the Baldwin Radio Factory.
