Come to The Gateway to celebrate Juneteenth at the Salt Lake Juneteenth Celebration & Black Owned Business Expo! This is an annual event that celebrates the freedom of enslaved blacks and highlights the inclusive History of the United States of America. This free event melds history, cultural experiences, and family friendly community fun for a celebration of resilience and joy. The programming brings opportunities for cultural experiences and connections which showcase Utah’s entrepreneurial and artistic diversity with activities such as roller skating, a kid’s corner, Beloved Community’s signature Black Owned Business Expo, Black art gallery, pop-up Black history museum, and entertainment stage.
