The Urban Arts Fest Elements is a pivot from a large scale 2-day festival to a month-long COVID friendly arrangement of exhibits and outdoor events, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Urban Arts Festival at The Gateway. Join us all month long to view the 10 murals up around The Gateway.
September 5 (live painting): On Saturday, September 5th the Utah Arts Alliance will invite the best mural and graffiti artists to line Rio Grande at The Gateway as we add more paint walls to the collection. Masks required and please remember to socially distance yourself from people outside your household.
September 6: At The Gateway we present Hard N Paint street basketball and custom car culture, a basketball competition and the Lowrider Custom Car Culture to exhibit their best artwork. There will be judging and prizes for Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Display and more.
September 18 (artist marketplace and skate deck comp winners): Urban Arts Fest Elements celebrates artists practicing any and all mediums, on Friday, September 18th the Utah Arts Alliance invited artists to sell handmade art in the Artist Marketplace. This year our festival will be spread out in order to keep everyone safe and healthy.
