Every year in September, The Gateway is taken over by Festa Italiana, the annual Italian Festival. For a full weekend, the area has live performances, cooking demonstrations, fresh foods, Italian cars, vendors, music, and so much more. This year, each event day brought tens of thousands of attendees to The Gateway, between September 19 and 20.

Dana Rossi, one of the events co-directors, said this event has delicious food and always brings the community together every year.
