Categories:

Girl Scouts of America, Clark Planetarium, Northrop Grumman, and L3Harris Technologies will host youth interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) on Friday, March 10 at Clark Planetarium located at the Gateway with activities from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and a panel discussion starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Northrop Grumman IMAX® Theatre.

The event encourages future generations who are interested in pursuing a career in STEM by introducing them to current leaders working in related fields. This year, the event will feature a series of hands-on science and education exhibits, as well as an interactive panel discussion.

This year’s panel include the following leaders:
• Stevie Marston, Process Engineer, Northrop Grumman
• Becky Clements, Engineering Program Director, L3Harris Technologies
• Lauren Barth-Cohen, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Utah
• Audrey Lang, future PhD graduate student in Astrophysics

This experience gives like-minded individuals, from all generations, the opportunity to encourage each other, learn from one another and share experiences and ideas. The event is sold out, with a wait list available: click here.
